Supposed that both OS's were the same (i.e.: Windows.) I click Start, Shut down, so now both machines will shut down. We have KVM switches to have one kb/mouse control multiple computers, but never at the same time. But that is in essence what you're trying to do: have one pad control a Linux computer at the same time that it's controlling a Windows Computer (the guest VM.) Imagine how this would work if both OS' were on physical machines. Why would one pad be simultaneously controlling the mouse in two different computers? Are the buttons in exactly the same place on both screens? No, so this is a perfectly reasonable assumption that the programmers of the pad would make.one computer only. Let's suppose the Wacom driver assumes it's the only driver running to control a particular device. Other notes: The Wacom Tablet is connected by USB. Is there any way I can get my Virtual XP to understand there is a tablet there, and be able to apply the configuration utility that I downloaded from the Wacom site? It seems there is a bit of a disconnect between VMWare Player and being able to detect the Wacom tablet, even though it recognizes events from the tablet for the purpose of moving the mouse. However, when I attempt to enter the control panel and configure the tablet, it says no compatible device can be found.

I downloaded the Windows drivers from Wacom and they installed. However, when using Photoshop within my Guest System (XP), I don't have pressure sensitivity. On my Guest System (Windows XP) the Wacom does move the mouse and for the most part works fine. I have pressure sensitivity and control over all its options.

On my Host System (Linux, Ubuntu 6.10), the drivers for my Wacom are working great. I have a Wacom pen tablet, which I use as my primary pointing device.
